Upon request, the Community Resource Unit will conduct a security survey of a citizen’s home or business. You will be provided with suggestions to assist you in safeguarding your home, property and family.
Deputies from the Community Resource Unit are available to make presentations on a wide variety of topics related to crime prevention and public safety.
About every 40 seconds, a child goes missing in America. Yet, only about 2% of parents have copies of their children’s fingerprints. Our I.D. kits allow parents to collect fingerprints, DNA, and other vital information, that can be provided to authorities if ever needed.
Free Gun Locks
Through partnership with Project ChildSafe, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is able to provide free cable-style gun locking devices, lock installment instructions, and safety booklets to gun owners who reside in Jackson County.
