They are responsible for processing all Capias Warrants issued by the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Missouri as well as warrants issued by Jackson County Municipal Court. When a warrant is received from the courts, it is input into several law enforcement computer databases (REJIS, M.U.L.E.S., NCIC, etc.).

Deputies Responsibilities

Warrant Arrest

Deputies assigned to the Warrant Division are responsible for the apprehension, extradition, and transportation of each individual named on each warrant.

Such extradition and transportation often requires deputies to travel to other jurisdictions to take custody of subjects arrested on Jackson County warrants.
